Reading time: about 2 minutes
The night brought new decisions. Piotr Krasnopolski (3600 unsupported) withdrew at night due to sunstroke. Piotr feels good now, he is safe, but he is unable to continue the race.
Łukasz Marek (3600 supported) also withdrew due to injury.
In Zakopane we also said goodbye to a very nice and already legendary figure of Polish ultra - Wojtek Łuszcz. Wojtek assessed that he would not make it within the time limit and ended his competition at CP3 in Czorsztyn. There was no end to the goodbyes. As is his custom, Wojtek was singing along. He is already getting ready for another race. This time in Lithuania.
We still have 34 competitors on the route
The weather is forecast to be a bit hotter than yesterday.
Stefano Semenzato (the only one in the 3600 supported category) is currently at PK7 in Kostrzyn n.O (2100km). The peloton is closed by Krzysztof Niemczyn, who is at 1200km and is climbing up to Kocierz
In the 1800 category, Andrii Goncharov is leading, who is at 1710km and has a 140km advantage over Adam Szczygieł (the advantage has increased slightly since the evening - by 20km)
