RACE AROUND POLAND - DAY 12 - REPORT 2

Around 4:00 PM, Tilo Arnhold (DEU) set off from TS 11 in Narewka, the last competitor in this year's Race Around Poland.

The Narewka checkpoint on the Race Around Poland route completed its mission. Over the past six days, it welcomed and supported a total of 26 competitors – the highest number in five editions.

This afternoon was an opportunity to reflect and draw conclusions for organizing such events in the future, but it also provided a platform for informal discussions about the commune's tourism potential, a point strongly emphasized by the guests from #RAP2025 (race staff and competitors), who were enchanted by the atmosphere and landscape of the place.

The Municipality (Mayor Jarosław Gołubowski and Deputy Łukasz Zasim) met with the organizers on behalf of #RAP2025, presenting them with symbolic gifts – cyclists, check your TS11 bags :)

So, see you in Narewka – sooner than next year!

Meanwhile, in Warsaw, after a minor navigational hiccup at the end of the route, Kazimierz Kosiński reached the finish line. 9th place in the M50+. This was his record-breaking RAP run – his first time under 270 hours.

Three more riders and one female rider also reached the finish line.

At 6:48 PM, Dariusz Matysiak landed in Obórki, rounding out the TOP 10 in the M50- category.

Two hours later, we welcomed Przemysław Żak (11th M50-).

Stanislav Shkuro (UKR) arrived just after midnight, followed 10 minutes later by Katarzyna Dąbrowicz (POL), who became the Women's World Vice-Champion!

Tilo Arnhold (DEU) remains on the course, with only 100 kilometers to go.
