RACE AROUND POLAND - DAY 2

The "peloton" of ultra-cyclists is already stretched from the Bieszczady Mountains (or Bieszczady? Because I will remember Czemiernik for the rest of my life to the Pieniny Mountains, i.e. from the 600th to the 900th kilometer.

Today, the FRONT team had to designate the first detour. Through Gorlice and Grybów. There will be over 100m less elevation gain, but the road will be busier.

Not all competitors remember to charge their trackers, which can result in a complete discharge and loss of the ability to track the competitor for a longer period of time, as well as time measurement, which may result in the competitor not being classified.

The first time penalties have also appeared. One of the competitors received a penalty - 2 hours, for shortening the route in the vicinity of Utstrzyki Górne.

The leader, Tomasz Spyra, is approaching the finish line of the 900 distance. He has only 40 kilometers left, but in very difficult terrain. Narrow and steep, forest hairpins. Drivers of support cars must be especially careful on them. You have to be extra careful to fit in these bends.

On the 1800 kilometer route, Andrii Goncharov from Ukraine is consistently the leader.

In the 3600 category with support - Stefano Semenzato is in the lead with a big advantage

M50-: Jakub Tomasik took the lead quite quickly and has over Cezary Wójcik. Kuba is gradually building an advantage and currently it is 40 minutes. Anything can happen, today's birthday boy Kemal Erdem is still in the game

M50+: Piotr Mos increases his advantage over Witek Kania. It has become 2.5 hours. Ingolf Micklisch, who is only a few minutes behind Witek, is also joining the fight for the podium.

F50-: Here Lisa Brömmel is still in first place, currently with an advantage of 4.5 hours over Maria Łuszczek
