RACE AROUND POLAND 2025 - DAY 0

It was a very busy day for everyone. The race office was preparing from the morning to serve the first competitors exactly at noon. Each of the participants had to get to Wilanów, switching from work and family mode to race mode. Pick up packages, prepare repacks, perform many other tasks to get to the technical briefing. Sometimes straight from work, they overcome city traffic jams. The most interesting stories could probably be told by competitors from Asia and America. Ingolf Micklish flew and drove here with many adventures. Of the 79 participants on the start list, Dawid Salamon (injury), Marcin Celiński (injury), Kamil Lemieszewski (professional matters), Amit Samarath (no visa), Mariusz Pacwa (injury) had to withdraw at the last minute. So far, 66 competitors have picked up their packages. Last year's 50+ world champion Adam Szczygieł will also report in the morning. Construction of the starting town will begin at 5am. We expect the first competitors there at 7am. 7:30am - first technical briefings, 7:45am turning on the trackers and at 8am announcer Adam Probosz will start the first competitors from Royal Wilanów / Bikeway.pl. The race will start at 9am exactly in Obórki.
