Race partners: Filipowe Kilometry

As in previous editions, also in this Race Around Poland supports the Filipowe Kilometry action!!!

According to data published by the international Association of Autism Europe, bringing together organizations from 38 European countries, including 25 EU Member States, governments, as well as European and international institutions, the autism spectrum affects 1 in 100 people, which means that in the EU alone Europe affects more than 5 million people.

The scale of the phenomenon and the related limitations mean that all actions whose purpose, apart from providing immediate assistance to specific beneficiaries, are of particular importance are to disseminate knowledge about the spectrum of autism disorders, to help recognize the symptoms and diagnose them earlier in affected people, to seek access to professional care and therapy, as well as carrying a positive message that this disease, although difficult to overcome, does not mean a sentence!

I don't think anyone has managed to combine it better with the spirit of sports competition, overcoming your own barriers and encouraging you to cover more and more kilometers on a bike than Dawid Salamon, Filip's father and the creator of the Filipowe Kilometry action 🚴

The idea behind the action is overcoming oneself and one's own barriers, just like Filip, David's son, does every day, as well as overcoming "Philip's Kilometers" together with other participants. Those of the participants who register their participation in the Strava application will make a donation to the account of the Foundation for Children "Help on Time", ul. We are pleased to inform you that, in accordance with the assumptions of the campaign, the organizers of Race Around Poland will pay PLN 0.01 for each kilometer of the route covered by the participants during the race. In addition, we encourage the participants and their fans to become ambassadors of the action and also earn the right to occasional gadgets for traveling 1503 km, which is less than half of the route!
